Our short-term and long-term skilled nursing care features additional specialty care services including:
Wound care
We are very proud of our wound care outcomes. Part of our success results from weekly consultations with a wound care nurse who specializes in wound care and assists in assessing, treating and managing surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and related wound and skin conditions.
Restorative care
Restorative nursing care is that “little extra help” for those who don’t necessarily need rehab, but still need additional assistance to continue improving or to maintain their current level of independence. From exercises to increase or maintain strength and mobility to assistance with dining, patients receive the encouragement, cues, and support they need.
VitalStim® therapy
A proven treatment for dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), VitalStim uses small electrical currents to stimulate throat muscles. Our rehab therapists have achieved lasting results for many residents using VitalStim to help them retrain their muscles to improve swallowing.
